Paul Ormerod is a British economist, with current research interests on complexity, complex systems, nonlinear feedback, business boom and bust cycles, and economic competition. He is interested in the application of biology, physics, mathematics, statistics, psychology and other disciplines of knowledge on economics by multi-disciplinary research approach. He is the author of "The Death of Economics", "Butterfly Economics", "Why Most Things Fail" and many other books this year, will launch new "Positive Linking". He is the director and one of the founders of Volterra Consulting.
